The Alcona County Library is pleased to announce it has received a Summer Learning Grant from the Young Adult Library Service Association (YALSA) and the Dollar General Literacy Foundation to purchase makerspace and robotic kits for the Library’s collection.  These kits include Magformers, Circuit Maze, Snap Circuits, Strawbees and Quirkbots, all which will be featured weekly on exploration tables at all Library branches during the summer.  All ages are invited to experience the Library’s Summer Reading theme, “Build a Better World,” by creating new structures and creatures with our new makerspace kits.  For more information on this and other Library services, please call 989-724-6796 or visit the web at www.library.alcona.lib.mi.us.

Children are invited to the weekly storytime and craft activity with Miss Stacy every Friday from 10:15 to 11:00 a.m. at the Harrisville branch of the Alcona County Library.  Riveting story, creative crafts, and delicious snacks every time!  See you at Storytime!
